Minors aged 3-11 in Nanming to get COVID-19 vaccines

Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has begun offering COVID-19 vaccines to children from 3 to 11 years old.

The move was officially made on Nov 1.

Inactivated vaccines produced by the Beijing Institute of Biological Products, Wuhan Institute of Biological Products and Beijing Sinovac Biotech will be used.

According to requirements, the first shot should be given before Nov 30 and the second shot by Dec 31.

The interval between the two doses should be more than three weeks, and the second dose should be completed within eight weeks.
