All nucleic acid test results of residents living in the Hengte and Guanjing areas of Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, were negative, according to information from Nanming authorities.
To prevent community transmission and ensure the health and safety of the people, the aforementioned areas conducted two rounds of nucleic acid testing on April 2 and 6, respectively.

The second round of testing started at 6 am April 6, and a total of 16 nucleic acid sample collection sites were set up to serve local residents.
Door-to-door services were provided for the elderly, sick, disabled and pregnant.
As of 2:17 pm on April 7, all 8,755 residents had tested negative.
