GLP I&M China visited Nanming for investment research

Nanming district received a visit by Global Logistic Properties Investment and Management (China) Co on Mar 12, for research in the region and for negotiation on investment in a New Retail Smart Supply Chain (Eastern Guiyang) Comprehensive Industrial Park project . 

On behalf of the District Government, Zhu Gang expressed sincere welcome to the delegation of GLP Investment and Management (China). He said that as proposed by the Municipal Party Committee, Nanming is now positioned as a bellwether for Guiyang's opening-up and development and as an "International High-end Consumer Goods Industry and Trade Demonstration Zone", and it should work hard to fulfill the goal. 

The District Party Committee set forth the idea of developing the region by a high level of openness, vigorously creating a real economy integration development zone, a pioneering urban renewal demonstration zone and a social governance innovation application zone, and promoting high-quality economic development. It also stressed that the high-level openness and high-quality development cannot be possible without the development of the commerce and trade circulation industry.

At the meeting, Zhu made the introduction of the district mainly from the perspectives of its geographical location, transportation advantages, market advantages, economic development status and other fundamental situations, as well as the development idea to create a real economy integration development zone, a pioneering urban renewal demonstration zone and a social governance innovation application zone. Cao introduced the general situation of GLP Investment and Management (China) and the planned investment project, i.e. the New Retail Smart Supply Chain (Eastern Guiyang) Comprehensive Industrial Park, on its construction background, positioning content and other aspects.

Combining the actual situation of the region and the construction and development needs of the planned investment project of GLP Investment and Management (China) , the officials of the district recommended to the enterprise the project site selection plan and briefly introduced the basic conditions of each land block. Subsequently, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the surrounding transportation facilities, the available area, the land nature and the time required for land consolidation and listing of the potential blocks.

Zhu said that the GLP Group is the world's leading provider of modern logistics facilities and industrial infrastructure. It has extensive resources and development networks throughout the country and is a leading company in the modern logistics industry. Its aim to build a New Retail Smart Supply Chain (Eastern Guiyang) Comprehensive Industrial Park and develop modern warehousing logistics, a goal  in line with the developmental idea of creating a modern logistics cluster in Ergezhai village in Nanming district. 

Nanming will show the greatest sincerity and best service to pave way for the cooperation with GLP Investment and Management (China) and facilitate the successful settlement of the industrial park project, which will surely promote the overall upgrading of the logistics industry in Ergezhai locality.

The business delegation was led by Cao Zheng, Assistant to the General Manager of the GLP Group. Zhu Gang, Head of Nanming District, presided over the discussion and exchange forum. Relevant district government officials also attended the meeting.

After the symposium, the delegation visited and inspected the recommended site of the project to learn about the specific location, the traffic and other conditions of the land.
