Founded in 1947, Guizhou Provincial People's Hospital is a third-grade class-A comprehensive hospital organized by the provincial government and managed by the provincial health commission. It integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, health care for cadre, prevention, rehabilitation and first aid. There are 4,407 employees, 2,000 authorized beds, 3,000 available beds and 61 clinical and medical departments. The hospital, with total assets of 2.8 billion yuan, covers an area of 110 mu and a business area of 200,000 square meters. The hospital also offers advanced wards and equipment. 

It is equipped with domestic advanced equipment such as operating rooms, intensive care units, logistics automation transmission system, Siemens SOMATOM Force open source CT, the United States GE 3.0T silent magnetic resonance, etc.
