Guiyang Urban Rail Transit

Only Guiyang urban rail transit line 1 currently serves the public. It runs from Xiamaixi to Xiaomeng Industrial Park Station and encompasses 24 stations. Lines 2, 3, S1 and S2 are under construction. They are expected to be operable before 2020. According to the long-range plan, Guiyang urban rail transit will form a complete nine-line subway system, extending a distance of 467 kilometers (290 miles).

Ticket Fare

CNY 2 for the first 4km (2.5mi); CNY 3 for 4-8km (2.5-5mi); CNY 4 for 8-12km (5-7mi); CNY5 for 12-18km (7-11mi) and CNY6 for 18-24km (11-15mi). For distances beyond 24km (15mi), an extra CNY1 is needed for every 8km (5mi).

Notes:

1. Subway passengers can enjoy a 10% discount if they pay with a Guiyang Transportation Smart Card.

2. Children under 1.3 meters (4 feet) can take all subway lines free of charge.
