Nanming district job fair offers over 5,000 positions

A job fair was held on Oct 30 in Nanming district in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, offering over 5,000 positions to residents.

A total of 45 modern service companies and 35 Huaguoyuan business area enterprises participated in the offline event. It attracted more than 1,300 job seekers and led to 414 offers of employment, including nine to veterans.

During the jobs fair, the district maintained strict coronavirus epidemic prevention and control measures and simultaneously carried out recruitment activities online.

Recruitment information about 32 companies is currently being provided online. Those who want to apply for jobs can get details directly through the network platform and communicate with the businesses directly.

To help with the development of resident enterprises, improve the employment service for key groups of locals, as well as promote employment and the entrepreneurial spirit of workers, the district launched a recruitment program from October to November.

This would build a service platform for enterprises and job seekers, to meet supply and demand and execute a two-way selection process through the combination of online and offline forms.
