Five TCM projects signed up to settle in Nanming district

Five traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) projects signed up to settle in Nanming district of Guiyang -- capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- at the 2020 Guizhou TCM and customized medicine park production and marketing meeting on Dec 22.

It marked significant progress being made in the district's construction of a provincial comprehensive demonstration area for TCM services.

Expected to play a pivotal role in boosting the district's economic and social development and in building a modern industrial ecosystem, the district is prioritizing the big health sector of TCM.

The district fully leveraged its resources and actively applied for the establishment of a provincial TCM services comprehensive demonstration area, which was approved in February this year.

At present, Nanming district is seizing the strategic opportunity of revitalizing TCM, carrying out a range of activities and initiatives.

The demonstration area will integrate medical culture, TCM commerce, high-end TCM manufacturing, TCM and ethnic medicine services, the incubation of TCM scientific research and TCM health tourism.

The signing of the five projects is expected to provide a strong boost to the construction of the provincial TCM service comprehensive demonstration area and the development of the district's TCM health industry.
