Delegation learns about TCM development in Nanming

A delegation from the Guizhou Provincial Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs paid a visit to Nanming district on June 3 to learn about the district's development of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) industry.

The delegates made field visits to Nanming's Oumei Pharmaceutical Industrial Park and Qianyaogang Medical City.

At the Oumei Pharmaceutical Industrial Park, delegates watched the industrial park's promotional video and learned in detail about its area, transportation facilities, entry requirements, and standard plant construction progress. 

In the Qianyaogang Medical City, they got an in-depth understanding of the project's development plan, settled enterprises, and construction status.

The delegation praised Nanming's TCM industry development layout and proposed that Nanming demonstrate its core advantages on developing the TCM industry from the aspects of land use, market access, settlement requirements, logistics costs, and preferential policies.

Meanwhile, they advised Nanming to achieve the integrated development of industries and rural revitalization.

In recent years, Nanming has been striving to build itself into a provincial-level traditional Chinese medical service demonstration district, advancing the development of traditional Chinese medicine inheritance, trade, production, service, scientific research, and elderly care related to traditional Chinese medical methods.
