Nanming's first public-built, private-operated elderly care project starts operating

The first publically-built and privately-operated elderly care center in Nanming district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, officially began operating on June 22.

The center is located at No 115 Longshui Road in Nanming district, with a total construction area of 13,700 square meters. 

It can house 406 beds and provide comprehensive services such as elderly care, disability care, dementia care, and postoperative rehabilitation.

It will be built into a comprehensive elderly care service center integrating elderly care talent training, elderly care information commanding, and elderly care standard research and development.

It will lead the development of an elderly care system in Nanming with a two-level information platform and a three-level service network.

The center is meant to help Nanming improve the structure of its elderly care service center system and its three-year action plan on the development of the elderly care industry.
