Nanming signs new deals to develop astaxanthin industry

Nanming district in the city of Guiyang in Southwest China's Guizhou province signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhongming Biology (Shenzhen) Group Co on Sept 29.

According to the agreement, the two sides will carry out comprehensive strategic cooperation in bioengineering and biopharmaceuticals.

They will also co-build a demonstration base for the haematococcus and astaxanthin innovation industries in Nanming and jointly complete the development and utilization of the astaxanthin industry chain.

The Shenzhen company is a technology company specializing in the application and development of microalgae and life sciences. 

Cooperation on the project is an effort by Nanming to advance new-type industrialization and boost rural revitalization.
