A nameplate unveiling ceremony for a returned overseas Chinese innovation and entrepreneurship base was held at Qingyun Market in Nanming district, Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Dec 11.
Chen Xinlun, vice-chairman of the Guizhou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, granted the nameplate on behalf of his organization.
The newly-established base will strengthen services and establish a platform for cooperation and communication. It aims to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship.
Qingyun Market, the first in Guizhou province to obtain the title of "returned overseas Chinese innovation and entrepreneurship base", is also the first provincial-level night-time economy demonstration business block in Guiyang city.
At present, the market is home to 21 companies with returned overseas Chinese investors and more than 50 overseas returnees. The enterprises cover fields such as accommodation, culture and big data.
