Promotional events boost Nanming business environment in Q1

Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has seen strong results from a series of business promotion events launched in the first quarter, which have reportedly established a solid foundation for the remainder of the year.

Statistics from the Nanming district government indicate that from January to March, the newly-introduced projects in the district spent a total of 1.72 billion yuan ($258.06 million), with industrial projects accounting for 445 million yuan.

Nanming also introduced eight highly-performing enterprises and 27 key projects.

To attract more businesses, Nanming has formulated the Five-Year Action Plan on Industry Promotion to facilitate business registration and project introduction.

In the first three months of this year, the Nanming District Investment Promotion Agency Service Center provided business license registration, legal person change, equity pledge and other agency services to 11 key investment promotion projects and enterprises.
