Nanming big data company shows promise

Guizhou Shugu Digital Entertainment Culture Industry Co, based in Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has achieved rapid development since its establishment in August 2021.

When asked why he wanted to start a business in Guiyang, Gu Lei, the company's founder, said that "Guizhou has a suitable environment for big data development and a broad market for the digital animation industry."

Gu Lei was born in 1982 in Guizhou. From 2005 to 2020, Gu worked in Shenzhen and then in Shanghai, devoting himself to the development of the digital animation industry.

His work experience in the two cities allowed Gu to accumulate valuable work experience in the field of digital animation and gave him the opportunity to return to his hometown to start a business.

In an interview with Tianyan news network, Gu said that Guizhou's digital animation industry is very weak. As a native of Guizhou, he wants to make use of his company's technological, talent and market advantages to make the animation industry bigger and better and help Guizhou forge a new path forward in the digital animation industry.

When he decided to start his company in Nanming district, the government provided Gu with an office of about 980 square meters, saving him much money and energy.

Meanwhile, with the help of the Nanming district government, Gu's company successfully held its first talent training activity with Guiyang Xinhua Computer Secondary Vocational School last year and trained more than 60 talents for the company.

The company currently has 38 animators, 18 modelers, and 8 VR/AR technicians.

Moving forward, the company hopes to become a leading enterprise in the field of 3D digital animation in Guizhou and contribute to the development of big data in Guizhou.

By the end of this year, the company will strive to achieve an output value of 10 million yuan ($1.51 million) and provide more than 200 job opportunities.
