China-ASEAN Business Council delegation seeks cooperation in Nanming

A delegation led by Xu Ningning, executive director of the China-ASEAN Business Council, paid a visit to the Nanming Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Nanming district in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on June 30.

Delegates learned about the industrial development of Nanming district in detail by looking at exhibition boards and listening to reports.

The Nanming Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park covers an area of 661 mu (44.07 hectares) and has received a total investment of about 4.47 billion yuan ($670.67 million).

It will be constructed in four phases. The construction of standard workshops in the first and second phases has already been completed, while construction on the third phase is being accelerated and the fourth phase is scheduled to start construction in the fourth quarter of this year.

During the trip, delegates also paid a visit to local enterprises Guizhou Zhongming Biotechnology Co and Guizhou Zhongke Molecular Biotechnology Co to learn about their products, technology and market potential.

At the forum held between the delegation and the Nanming district government, the two sides discussed deepening cooperation and helping Nanming products enter the ASEAN market.
