Yongle township in Nanming district in Southwest China's Guizhou province has been developing peach planting as a way to boost rural vitalization.
The Yanhong peaches produced in the township's Yongle village are enjoying rising popularity among consumers due to their crispy and sweet taste, thin skin, and high water and sugar content.
Yongle village has planted 500 mu (33.33 hectares) of Yanhong peaches in total, which provides much more work opportunities for locals and generates extra income.

In 2006, Yongle township was honored as a "National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site".
As of 2021, the annual output of peaches in Yongle Township had reached 11,500 metric tons, with an output value of more than 70 million yuan ($10.51 million).
