The integrated development of culture, tourism, commerce and the digital economy has become a way for Nanming district to advance its tourism industrialization.

In the process of promoting the high-quality development of urban tourism, Nanming has formed the "Nanming District Historical and Cultural Resources Plan".

According to the plan, Nanming will cultivate provincial-level nighttime cultural and tourism consumption clusters around Jiaxiu Pavilion and Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street.

The clusters will connect Jiuxiu Pavilion, Cuiwei Valley, Xihu Road, Jiandao Street and the Memorial Tower.

They will feature cultural displays, food, recreational facilities, performances, cultural and creative activities, and cultural and sports-related entertainment.

Qingyun Road is currently developing a new tourism model in Nanming. It was built in 1927 and is a famous night market snack street in Guiyang.

In 2020, to further enhance the city's image, Nanming started renovating and upgrading Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street into the Qingyun Market.

The upgraded Qingyun Market opened to the public on Jan 10, 2022 and is home to more than 100 snack brands.

During the Spring Festival holiday in 2022, the turnover of Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street exceeded 4.5 million yuan and it received more than 218,700 tourist visits.

On July 10, the second phase of Qingyun Market opened. It revolves around sports, e-sports, KTV and bars, and features aromatherapy, handmade goods, and grocery stores.

Nanming is also continuing to improve services and the tourist experience.

It has made strong efforts to improve the transportation distribution system of scenic spots, and promote the construction of public service facilities and supporting facilities such as tourist service centers and tourist rest stations.

It has also normalized the special rectification of the tourism market order and promoted the integrity of the tourism industry to protect the legitimate rights and interests of tourists.

In the first half of this year, there were 2.33 million overnight tourist visits to Nanming and each tourist spent an average of 1,398.40 yuan. The added value of tourism and related industries in Nanming during this period was estimated at 3.2 billion yuan.
