A ceremony to thank those who supported Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was held on Oct 5.
Since the latest outbreak of COVID-19 in Guiyang in early September, a total of 14 mobile nucleic acid detection stations and 233 nucleic acid testing personnel from the cities of Liupanshui, Tongren and Bijie, as well as Qiannan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture and Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture in Guizhou, were sent to Guiyang to help in the fight against the virus.

During their 30-day stay in Guiyang, they collected more than 1.5 million samples and completed over 13 million test-related tasks, making important contributions to the success of Guiyang's epidemic prevention and control efforts.
