Nanming's industrial economy achieves rapid development

Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has seen rapid development in its industrial economy over the past 10 years.

In 2012, industrial enterprises above designated size in Nanming achieved a total industrial output value of 13.91 billion yuan ($1.98 billion) and an industrial added value of 3.32 billion yuan.

However, in 2021, the industrial output value of industrial enterprises above designated size in the district hit 34.95 billion yuan and an industrial added value of 9.07 billion yuan.

From January to June this year, Nanming reported a cumulative industrial output value of 23.26 billion yuan and an added value of 6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.4 percent.

During the same period, Nanming saw five new industrial enterprises reach designated size.

Over the past 10 years, Nanming has insisted on the high-end, green and integrated development of its industries.

An industrial system dominated by electronic information and featuring biotech has gradually taken shape in Nanming.
