Nanming district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently issued subsidies worth 7.35 million yuan to 63 high-tech enterprises in its jurisdiction.
Each enterprise received post-subsidy funds ranging from 50,000 yuan ($7,132.67) to 300,000 yuan based on its output value, R&D investment and taxation in the past three years.
Guizhou Xinqixiang Technology Co is one of the enterprises receiving the new subsidy. The enterprise is exclusively authorized by the Guizhou Provincial Meteorological Administration to engage in professional and special meteorological services in Guizhou.
At present, it undertakes professional meteorological services for more than 40 government enterprises and institutions in the province. After strict screening and review, the enterprise won a subsidy of 300,000 yuan from Nanming district.
According to Yuan Chen, director of the enterprise's service department, "Subsidies are in place and provide a strong financial guarantee for our company's independent research and development."
"I believe that with the support of the government, our company's road to innovation will be firmer." Yuan added.
Moving forward, the company will use this fund for research and development purposes in new fields such as new energy, smart agriculture, and shipping.
In recent years, Nanming has introduced preferential measures to continuously promote enterprises to accelerate industrial innovation, market innovation, product innovation, and management innovation.
