As the Spring Festival approaches, Nanming district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, rolled out its New Year shopping festival on Qingyun Pedestrian Street on Jan 6 to create more immersive and interactive shopping options for consumers.
The festival is scheduled to last 11 days until Jan 16.
During the festival, consumers will have access to a rich variety of goods, including holiday decorations, authentic traditional food, as well as beverages and jewelry from Brazil, France, Afghanistan and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

To boost consumption, the Nanming district government also issued government consumption vouchers to the value of 250,000 yuan ($35,663.3).
The types of consumer coupons include an immediate discount of 100 yuan when purchasing goods worth over 300 yuan, an immediate discount of 30 yuan when purchasing goods worth over 100 yuan, and an immediate discount of 15 yuan when purchasing goods worth over 60 yuan.
