Nanming deepens cooperation with Macao

Macao and Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, signed a deal on April 20 to cooperate on the construction of the Nanming core demonstration zone for Guizhou-Macao cooperation.

According to the agreement, the two places will focus on comprehensively deepening cooperation in areas such as economy and trade, culture, tourism, technological innovation, educational exchange, and financial markets.

At the signing ceremony, the Macao Chamber of Commerce in Guiyang and the Macao Chinese Innovation and Technology Development Promotion Association signed strategic cooperation agreements with the Nanming District People's Government and the Nanming District Chamber of Commerce.

Meanwhile, Macao Jinshang Group and Manguan Global Co signed relevant cooperation agreements with enterprises from Guizhou province.

Moreover, the Brand Overseas Agency Cooperation Agreement to promote the export of chili products in Guizhou province was signed on the same day.

Wang Maoai, director of the Guizhou Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, said in his speech at the ceremony that Guizhou and Macao have a strong foundation for cooperation, the two sides are highly complementary, and the market potential for cooperation is huge.

The signing of the cooperation agreement is part of efforts to deepen cooperation between Guizhou and Macao and build a demonstration zone for in-depth cooperation.

As the core area of the provincial capital, Nanming district has unique political, economic and cultural advantages. It is hoped that Nanming will actively contribute to the construction and development of the project.

Huang Chenghong, Party secretary of Nanming district, said Nanming will further optimize the development environment and policy services so that the project can be implemented as soon as possible.
