Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, ranked second in business promotion among all counties, county-level cities and districts in Guiyang last year.
In 2022, Nanming spent 7.55 billion yuan ($1.09 billion) on industrial projects, 7.87 percent more than the annual target set by Guiyang for the district.
Throughout the year, Nanming became home to 44 new high-performing enterprises, 46.67 percent more than its annual target.
To boost business promotion in the new year, Nanming formulated and issued a work plan for industrial investment breakthroughs in 2023.
It also launched 10 measures related to investment promotion, which optimized and improved the district's investment promotion policies, increased the reward amount for enterprises in its jurisdiction that list in China, and refined some tax exemption measures for local factories and office properties.
Additionally, socialized investment promotion incentive clauses have been added to make the policy more attractive and encourage enterprises to invest in Nanming.
