By the end of 2022, the number of market players in Nanming district in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, had reached 163,324, a year-on-year increase of 14.97 percent.
According to the 2023 Nanming market player cultivation action plan trial, Nanming will continue working to introduce more market entities.
By the end of this year, Nanming is expected to be home to more than 170,000 market players.
The number of registered enterprises in Nanming is expected to come in at 80,000, an increase of 4,400 compared with that in 2022.
By the end of 2023, Nanming hopes to introduce 30 enterprises with good business performance, 10 industrial enterprises above designated size and one real estate development and management enterprise, eight additional qualified construction enterprises, 50 wholesale, retail and accommodation enterprises above designated size, and 28 service industry enterprises above designated size.
Additionally, Nanming is expected to have more than 80 enterprises recognized as high-tech enterprises this year, have over 200 small and medium-sized enterprises included in the library, and introduce one agricultural industrialization enterprise and three headquarters enterprises.
