Nanming's first 24-hour unmanned bookstore to open

Wen Yuan Yue, the first 24-hour unmanned bookstore in Nanming district, is scheduled to open on June 5.

Located in Jiandao South Alley, it covers an area of over 100 square meters, and features more than 5,500 books across five categories: literature and art, social sciences, children's books, leisure and lifestyle, and education.

It is divided into six functional areas, including a book collection area, a self-service area, and a book purchasing area.

Visitors can enter the store by means of facial recognition or by swiping their ID cards, and they can read the books there free of charge. They can also purchase them via an automatic vending machine.

The bookstore is designed to operate around the clock without the need of any staff. It is equipped with modern technologies, providing a convenient and comfortable reading environment for the public.
