Construction of the Qingxiu Lugu Shanyu project in Nanming district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has made great progress recently.
The project is part of the renovation of the shantytowns around the Dongzhan Freight Yard (Phase I) spanning 1.23 million square meters and divided into three phases of development.
Phase I encompasses nine high-rise residential buildings, and the main structure has already been completed.
Sports and entertainment facilities, such as ping pong tables, badminton courts, basketball courts, and skateboarding areas have been set up under the Dongzhan overpass, providing a place for nearby residents to relax and have fun, and revitalizing the space under the bridge.

In order to make the whole space more standardized and tidy, the bridge piers have been painted, and the landscape around the bridge has been greened to provide a more comfortable environment for people who go there to exercise.
Moreover, two exits at nearby BRT Jiarun Station, have been extended along the sidewalk to make travel more convenient.
Additionally, a small-scale TOD comprehensive hub that integrates ecological parks, sports venues, leisure squares, and commercial consumption is planned to be built in the future.
