Nanming pursues innovative industrial development

In recent years, Nanming district has accelerated the pace at which it is promoting a new type of industrialization, as it strives to achieve new breakthroughs in the industrial sector.

As such, it is focusing on semiconductor research and development, design, packaging, testing, electronic components, new display technologies, 5G + internet of things, and smart terminal manufacturing, attracting a group of leading enterprises and cultivating benchmark companies.

These enterprises have characteristics such as "high technology, high tax revenue, and high investment”.

Guizhou Zhenxin Technology Co, located in Nanming Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, is a good example of this.

It commenced operations in August 2021, and is now an innovative research and development company focusing on semiconductor technologies such as ultra-high-definition displays and 5G high-speed data transmission.

The chip products it has developed are not only sold domestically but also exported to other countries and regions.

Meanwhile, focusing on the construction of the provincial comprehensive traditional Chinese medicine service demonstration area, Nanming aims to create a "1+3+N" new integrated system of food and medicine industries, with pharmaceuticals, research, and testing as the main pillars, and several food and medicine homology products and services as extensions of those.

According to statistics from the Nanming bureau of industry and information technology, in 2022, Nanming achieved a total added value of industries above a designated size of 10.67 billion yuan ($1.52 billion), with a total industrial output value of 39.32 billion yuan.

The industrial added value accounted for 9 percent of local GDP, contributing to a 0.4 percentage point increase in GDP growth.
