The GDP of Nanming district in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, reached 47.81 billion yuan in the first half of this year, a year-on-year increase of 6.3 percent.
By sector, the added value of the primary industry was 53 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.2 percent; the added value of the secondary industry came in at 16.79 billion yuan, seeing a year-on-year boost of 6.7 percent; while the added value of the tertiary industry hit 30.96 billion yuan, up 6.1 percent from the same period last year.
