Nanming District Administrative Service Center has received widespread praise for its heartwarming government services that have focused on addressing the difficulties faced by businesses and residents.

The center has continuously optimized its assistance services by establishing an online service area, creating electronic guides for high-frequency tasks, and deploying over 10 "online application" assistants.

This has formed a unique service mechanism of "fixed-point guidance, mobile assistance, centralized support, and full-process agency."

The center offers comprehensive help to businesses and residents in completing documents, filling out application forms, uploading materials, and tracking the progress of their applications.

It also provides free application services for special groups, such as older people who may be unfamiliar with computers, by handling the entire online application process on their behalf.

The center has answered questions and resolved issues for businesses and residents through "face-to-face" and "hands-on" guidance.

Since the beginning of this year, the center has provided approximately 57,000 free assistance services.

"Thank you so much! I thought I had to go to Hunan to handle this. You've been a great help," said 80-year-old Ms Wang, a beneficiary of the center's cross-province services.

Ms Wang explained that in August 2023, she was misled by a short video and enrolled in a video editing course, registering an individual business license under the name Yongshun County Dorong Department Store.

She recently received a reminder to file an annual report for her business. If not operating, she needed to cancel it to avoid fines and being blacklisted.

On Dec 5 of this year, Ms Wang visited Nanming District Administrative Service Center to inquire about the cancellation process. The staff discovered her business license was registered in Yongshun county, Hunan province, and needed to be canceled there.

Seeing her distress, they informed her about the new online government services. The staff guided Ms Wang through the online process to obtain a "tax clearance certificate."

Additionally, they contacted the Yongshun County Market Regulation Bureau via the Hunan government service website for further assistance.

After some communication, the staff submitted the business license cancellation application through Hunan's electronic individual registration system, completing the process within half an hour.
