The Guizhou Provincial People's Government recently approved six projects from Nanming district, Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province, as part of the sixth batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage representative projects and the expanded list. The six listed projects cover categories such as traditional sports, medicine, and craftsmanship.
They include two traditional sports and acrobatics – Xiaolianquan (boxing) and Miao Sword Martial Arts; three traditional medicine practices – Guo's Bee Venom Acupuncture Therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine Skin Diagnosis Method, and Miao Medicine Fertility Assistance Method; and one traditional craftsmanship – the Nanmenkou Changwangmian Making Technique.
