Nanming resumes work and production

As the echoes of the Spring Festival celebrations gradually fade, Nanming district in Guiyang city is already bustling with energy. Various industries swiftly resumed operations, bringing back the vibrant rhythm of city life.

During the holiday, Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street's lively festive market attracted locals and tourists eager to shop and indulge in traditional delicacies.

The street welcomed approximately 870,000 visits during the Spring Festival holiday, generating sales revenue of 21.55 million yuan – an impressive year-on-year increase of 59.05 percent.

Even after the holiday, the bustling atmosphere remains. Shoppers continue to explore the pedestrian street, while off-peak travelers savor the lingering festive vibes.

Major commercial hubs in Nanming are also witnessing steady foot traffic. At MIXC Mall, crowds fill the shopping areas as customers try new outfits, browse fashion stores, and enjoy delicious meals in the food court, where laughter and chatter create a lively ambiance.

Beyond retail and dining, the express delivery industry is experiencing a post-holiday surge in activity. Parcels had accumulated at collection points due to residents traveling or returning home for the holiday, but now, with businesses reopening, the logistics sector is working at full speed to ensure smooth deliveries.

The Nanming Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park is a hive of activity. Many enterprises have resumed operations, striving to fulfill orders and ramp up production.

According to Zhang Jing, secretary and director of the Nanming District Industrial Park Construction and Service Center, 30 enterprises in the industrial park had already resumed work as of Feb 5.
