In 2024, Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, demonstrated impressive economic development, maintaining its position as the second-largest GDP contributor in the province and the leading district in the city.
The district's contribution to Guiyang's GDP growth reached 19.0 percent, ranking first among all districts.
Nanming led the city in logistics, hosting 24 A-level logistics enterprises, the most in the city. The district completed fixed asset investments of 23.4 billion yuan ($3.21 billion), an increase of 7.3 percent year over year, and construction and installation investments of 15.7 billion yuan, up 9.8 percent. Both figures ranked first in the city.

The district recorded a net increase of 15,000 market entities, bringing the total to 199,000, the highest in the province. Total consumer goods sales reached 78.43 billion yuan, a 4.9 percent increase, ranking first in the province.
Nanming attracted 23 intelligent computing enterprises and added nine new big data enterprises above a designated size. The district's integration of big data with the real economy reached a level of 64.72, ranking second in the province. Software and information technology services revenue reached 5.26 billion yuan, marking a 10.7 percent increase and ranking second in the city.
