From April 26 to 27, the 13th Professionals Convention Guizhou was held at Guizhou University of Finance and Economics. Nanming district gave a strong showing, utilizing both online and offline strategies to attract skilled professionals.
During the lead-up to the event, Nanming launched a comprehensive promotional campaign through official websites and social media platforms. By precisely targeting job seekers with information on positions, policies, and participation guides, the district drew significant interest from prospective talent.
In total, 106 organizations posted 358 high-quality job openings on the event's official site, seeking over 2,000 professionals in key sectors such as education, healthcare, and industrial development.
At the event, Nanming organized a delegation of 15 top local enterprises, offering 75 positions with 282 vacancies. Additionally, 51 public institutions presented 106 roles, requiring 132 professionals in areas like smart manufacturing, big data, and business services. Over 100 positions were also reserved for high-level talent across public institutions.
During the two-day event, over 500 candidates visited Nanming booths. The district received more than 1,000 resumes, including 194 from postgraduate-level applicants, resulting in over 100 preliminary job matches.
To ensure talent retention, Nanming provided on-site consultations on policies covering household registration, housing subsidies, and education support. By fostering strong ties among government, universities, and businesses, the district aims to create a thriving and supportive talent ecosystem.
