On July 8, more than 130 guests from the cultural and tourism sectors of Hong Kong and Macao were invited to visit Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The tour aims to showcase Guizhou's rich cultural and tourism resources, promote exchanges with Hong Kong and Macao, and foster deeper cooperation in cultural tourism.
In just half a day, they journeyed from historic landmarks to bustling streets, immersing themselves in the unique charm of Nanming.
They visited the iconic Jiaxiu Pavilion and listened to stories of how this Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) structure has stood witness to more than 600 years of the city's evolution.

The group then strolled through the sunset-lit Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street. Once a vibrant night market, it has been renovated to blend tradition with creativity. "It's stylish yet nostalgic – what a thoughtful transformation!" noted a tourism professional from Macao.
Guests sampled local delicacies like Qingyan pig feet and zhe'ergen (Herba Houttuyniae) yogurt, and explored shops featuring intangible heritage items such as Shui ethnic embroidery and Miao silver jewelry.
The day concluded with a dazzling performance of Colorful Guizhou, showcasing the province's diverse ethnic cultures through dance and song. The vibrant costumes and heartfelt performances left a deep impression on the audience.
