In a creative push to boost tourism and local consumption, Guiyang's Nanming district is once again spotlighting its signature "Summer Tea" — a refreshing tea-drinking experience that merges cultural charm with the city's well-known cool climate.

One of the key highlights is the traditional-style teahouse "Xiyuan · Nali Old Teahouse" located on Cao Zhuangyuan Street. With its classic courtyard ambiance and affordable 10-yuan ($1.39) "old tea soup", the venue has become a popular spot for both locals and tourists.

Founded in 2001, the teahouse now operates four branches across Guiyang, including locations near Jiaxiu Pavilion and Huaxi.

According to manager Geng Yong, the teahouse saw more than 400 visitors in one day and over 500 the next, with a balanced mix of local residents and out-of-towners. "Our teahouse has become a viral destination in Guiyang," he added.

Meanwhile, at Qingyun Market, another "10-yuan teahouse" offers a nostalgic vibe and specializes in traditional Guiyang-style covered bowl tea. With offerings like pure tea, floral-fruit blends, and cold brews, it has attracted a steady stream of visitors from Sichuan, Guangdong, and Fujian.

"We mainly sell premium Guizhou teas such as Leishan Silver Ball and Duyun Maojian," said the owner. "Many of our customers become repeat buyers — last year alone, our sales exceeded 150,000 yuan."
