44 new projects land in Nanming in H1

In the first half of 2025, Guiyang's Nanming district introduced 44 new industrial projects with a total contracted investment of 7.86 billion yuan ($1.10 billion). Eight key projects accounted for 5.84 billion yuan, while 26 reserve projects are in the pipeline.

During the period, Nanming officials conducted four business trips to major industrial hubs, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, visiting 14 enterprises. Meanwhile, Nanming hosted 169 enterprises for 107 on-site inspections, with high-quality firms like Shanghai Taiyu Information Technology Co and Zhuhai Wharton Electric Co choosing to set up operations locally.

Meanwhile, a total of 810,200 square meters of standard factory space has been built, with five industrial projects signing contracts to move in during the first half of the year, bringing in 1.52 billion yuan in investment. These include projects focusing on new display technologies and high-end packaging, further strengthening local industry chains.

As a provincial pilot area for integrated services enabling sole proprietors to transition into enterprises, Nanming continues to streamline government services. Its service center, in coordination with market regulation, tax, and healthcare authorities, has established a cross-department mechanism for "one-form applications, one set of materials, one-time submission, and coordinated processing".

The integrated service covers business registration changes, company seal engraving, bank account changes, and tax clearance verification. It has expanded from six to eleven joint-handling services, adding high-frequency procedures such as tax control equipment changes, medical insurance registration changes, and license modifications for food production, food service, and pharmaceutical retail.

To date, the district has processed services for 16 market entities, significantly reducing paperwork and improving efficiency – making business development in Nanming not only possible, but comfortable.
