Nanming launches coffee carnival and industry dialogue

Guiyang's Nanming district kicked off the 2025 Wanxiang Jiaxiu Coffee Carnival and the first Coffee Industry Development Dialogue at Guiyang Mix City on Aug 28.

The event brought together more than 70 specialty coffee and lifestyle brands, over 10 enterprise representatives, and officials from district departments.

At the opening ceremony, Wang Yibin, head of Nanming district, welcomed participants and highlighted Nanming's coffee industry strengths. He expressed hope for collaboration with enterprises, investors, and startups nationwide to build industry platforms, create diverse consumption opportunities, and enhance service ecosystems.

During the themed dialogue, attendees discussed "Creating Quality Consumption Opportunities and Cultivating New Coffee Industry Models". Liu Guijun, Party Secretary of Nanming district, emphasized Nanming's commitment to implementing national and provincial strategies, inviting companies to help establish Guiyang as a "Coffee City".

The goal is to develop a complete coffee ecosystem – from bean to cup – enhancing regional influence and positioning Nanming as a cultural and consumption hub.

Lu Yuan, president of the Guiyang Coffee Industry Association, praised Nanming's open, innovative environment and encouraged industry stakeholders to explore investment and collaboration opportunities in the district.
