Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is opening a new chapter in its "Guizhou Goods Going Global" initiative as Guizhou Ruimai Cross-Border E-Commerce Holdings Co signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Thai business and cultural figure Muangphum Harnsiripetch's team.
The partnership will focus on three areas: promoting Guizhou products in Southeast Asia, cultivating cross-border livestream hosts, and supporting entrepreneurship among university students. Utilizing local resources and cultural expertise, Harnsiripetch's team will build a livestream sales platform in Thailand to bring Guizhou tea, specialty foods, and handicrafts directly to consumers.
Since its launch in March 2024, Ruimai has incubated nearly 200 cross-border e-commerce companies, with 70 percent based in Nanming, achieving exports worth over 11 million yuan ($1.53 million). The firm sees this collaboration as a key step in expanding into Southeast Asia and building talent pipelines for cross-border trade.

The two sides also plan to establish a tailored training system for livestream hosts targeting the Thai market and an entrepreneurship practice platform for students, combining hands-on training with industry resources.
"Guizhou products have strong market potential, and Ruimai has the expertise to expand them internationally," said Harnsiripetch at the signing ceremony. "This cooperation will not only boost Guizhou goods in Thailand but also deepen China-Thailand e-commerce and youth entrepreneurship exchanges".
