Folk art copyright exhibition brings culture to Qingyun Road

From Sept 19 to 21, an exhibition and fair of outstanding copyrighted works of ethnic and folk culture was held at Qingyun Market in Nanming district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, offering residents and visitors an immersive cultural experience.

Centered on copyright promotion and exchange, the event showcased Guizhou's ethnic and folk culture achievements through the "copyright protection + market operation" model.

It highlighted the fusion of traditional crafts with modern consumer demand, creating new cultural consumption scenes that boost the province's tourism and cultural industries.

The expo featured a wide range of exhibits, from batik and embroidery to ethnic handicrafts and red-themed cultural products. These works carried a strong local cultural identity while benefiting from solid copyright protection, reflecting both innovation and vitality in folk art.

Beyond the displays, live performances enriched the atmosphere: intangible cultural heritage inheritors demonstrated their crafts, ethnic dances and music took the stage, and visitors enjoyed hands-on craft workshops. The event celebrated Guizhou's cultural charm and raised public awareness of copyright protection.

According to organizers, Qingyun Market was chosen for its cultural atmosphere and visitor flow, making it the ideal venue to connect cultural copyright achievements with the market. Residents, tourists, and cultural enthusiasts were invited to join this vibrant exchange of tradition and creativity.
