Nanming district harnesses AI for digital economy growth

Guiyang's Nanming district is rapidly emerging as a hub for artificial intelligence (AI) innovation, driving industrial upgrading and advancing the digital economy.

Local companies are applying AI across diverse sectors. In the legal field, Guizhou Zhonghui Technology Co developed platforms for judicial assistance and public interest litigation, enhancing efficiency in case handling and enabling residents to report violations via AI-powered mobile tools. Recognized by the Supreme People's Procuratorate, these platforms are now promoted nationwide.

Ensuring data security is a key priority. Zhonghui Technology has built integrated solutions that combine certification, compliance, and technical safeguards, while forming partnerships to create secure, trusted ecosystems.

AI applications are also reshaping governance and services. China Comservice Guizhou Co has launched AI-driven solutions for smart city management, including fire safety, elderly care, and park monitoring. Colorful Guizhou Digital Technology Co introduced "Xiaocai", a multimodal AI assistant that improves business efficiency and customer services.

In manufacturing, electronics manufacturers apply AI for predictive maintenance and product inspection, reducing downtime and improving quality. In water management, Guizhou Smart Water Co uses AI and IoT at the Huangjiawan Reservoir to enhance flood prediction and resource allocation.

AI is also advancing public services, from streamlined government approvals and personalized education to AI-assisted healthcare.

To consolidate progress, Nanming has released the Action Plan for Promoting High-Quality AI Development (2025–27), focusing on new scenarios, computing power, and data resources. Supported by provincial initiatives, several leading enterprises have settled in the district, injecting fresh momentum into its AI industry.
