Guiyang's Nanming district has rolled out comprehensive measures to ensure smooth and orderly tourism services during a recent holiday travel peak, transforming a surge in spring visitors into a more sustainable tourism experience.

To ease congestion, traffic police implemented fixed guidance posts and real-time traffic signal adjustments around the district's key sites. Temporary road controls were introduced based on crowd and traffic flow, while additional personnel were deployed in busy pedestrian areas to regulate parking and reduce bottlenecks.

Meanwhile, teams comprising law enforcement officers, market regulators, and community volunteers were stationed across major areas to ensure orderly behavior. Through a combination of enforcement and public service, they helped regulate street vendors and encouraged businesses to maintain clean and orderly storefronts.

Sanitation efforts were also strengthened. A round-the-clock cleaning system was introduced in high-traffic zones, combining mechanical and manual operations to maintain a clean urban environment. Public facilities such as restrooms were upgraded and kept fully operational to make visitors more comfortable.

Authorities also strengthened food safety and public security measures. Joint inspections were carried out across restaurants and markets to promote responsible consumption practices, transparent pricing, and safe food handling. Meanwhile, comprehensive checks on fire safety and gas use were conducted, alongside increased patrols to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for visitors.
