Nanming cafe adds boutique exoticism to Guizhou coffee culture

Hidden in an alley of Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, Kofi Cafe is a small boutique coffee shop that combines local Guizhou coffee culture with a relaxed, healing atmosphere. 

Unlike trend-driven cafes, Kofi Cafe focuses on handcrafted coffee and a warm, community-oriented experience. The interior features a soft, fairytale-inspired design with playful decorations, including plush toys, original cat-themed illustrations created by the owner, and locally inspired cultural products.

The cafe also offers a comfortable indoor space and a small outdoor courtyard surrounded by greenery and flowers. Natural light and simple design elements make it a popular spot for casual photos and relaxation.

According to the owner, the cafe was created to promote Guizhou's coffee culture while offering a neighborhood space with authenticity and warmth — allowing customers to enjoy a distinct local flavor in every cup.
