Recently selected as a tourism hub city, Guiyang is connected to destinations across the province by a convenient high-speed rail network. Its Nanming district is particularly well positioned, with Metro Lines 1, 2, and 3 and the S1 Line running through the district. Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport and Guiyang Railway Station are also located nearby.

Day 1 | Discover old Guiyang
Arrive at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport and reach central Nanming in about 10 minutes by car. After checking in, head to Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street for local favorites such as grilled fish, beef rice noodles, and fruit tofu pudding.
Continue to Qingyun Market for more Guizhou snacks, then walk to Jiaxiu Pavilion to see the historic landmark reflected in the Nanming River. End the evening along Cao Zhuangyuan Street, known for its lantern-lined streets and creative shops.
Day 2 | Huangguoshu Waterfall
Take a high-speed train from Longdongbao Railway Station to Anshunxi High-speed Railway Station in about 50 minutes. Spend the day exploring Huangguoshu Waterfall scenic area.
Return to Guiyang in the afternoon and enjoy Nanming's urban attractions, from Huaguoyuan Wetland Park and the Twin Towers to its restaurants, shopping, and wellness facilities.
Day 3 | Libo's emerald landscapes
From Guiyang Railway Station, take a high-speed train to Libo in about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Explore the picturesque Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, where turquoise waters, waterfalls, and karst landscapes create one of Guizhou's most distinctive natural scenes.
Back in Nanming, explore the Huguo Road food district for sour soup beef.
Day 4 | Kaili's Miao culture
A high-speed train from Guiyangbei Railway Station reaches Kailinan Railway Station in about 34 minutes. From there, head to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village to explore traditional stilted houses, rice terraces, Miao Group's costumes, and batik craftsmanship.
Return to Nanming in the evening and take a leisurely walk along the Nanming River. Stop at Binheli, where cafes, craft beer bars, restaurants, and cultural shops offer a relaxed evening atmosphere.
Day 5 | Cool off and slow down
For a summer getaway, visit Taoyuan River near Guiyang for a refreshing rafting experience.
Back in Nanming, slow down at Cao Zhuangyuan Street. At Xiyuan·Nali Teahouse, enjoy a cup of Duyun Maojian or Meitan Cuiya tea in a traditional courtyard while listening to music and watching local performances.
