Nanming Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is accelerating the integration of hardware manufacturing, software services, and data applications to build a stronger digital industry cluster and support the region's high-quality industrial development.
At the park-based Guizhou Yuhui Electronic Technology Co, 93 newly installed intelligent machines are being commissioned, bringing all equipment on the company's existing production lines online. By using real-time data to monitor production processes, equipment performance, product quality, and energy consumption, the company has improved production efficiency, shortened order delivery cycles by more than 30 percent, and reduced customer complaints by 40 percent.
Yuhui specializes in products such as integrated circuit chips, chip-on-board light strips, and glasses-free 3D displays. The company is expanding its production capacity, with a target of reaching an annual output value of 3 billion yuan ($449.78 million) during the first three years of its own five-year plan period.
The park is also strengthening its advanced electronic components sector. Zhongwei Longtu Electronic Technology (Guiyang) Co has recently launched a specialized component packaging, testing, and micro-assembly production line at the park, backed by an investment of about 200 million yuan.
The project is initially expected to produce 30 million precision components annually, supplying sectors such as specialized electronic equipment and the emerging low-altitude economy. Once its second phase reaches full capacity, the project is expected to generate a cumulative output value of 500 million yuan within five years.
Meanwhile, data services are emerging as another growth driver. At Guizhou Zhongyue Shulian Technology Co, data annotators label vehicles, pedestrians, and traffic signals in road scenes to help train autonomous driving systems. Since its establishment less than a year ago, the company has grown from a team of eight to 220 employees and earned provincial recognition as both a data enterprise and a data annotation enterprise.
Together, these businesses illustrate the park's developing industrial ecosystem. The park has so far attracted 42 enterprises, including 11 above-designated-size industrial enterprises and four technologically-advanced small and medium-sized enterprises.
